A reading teacher is someone who goes through an active, purposeful, organized cognitive process that is used to make sense of the world, such process being improve by:

Becoming aware of one's thinking process. A teacher must always be aware of the workings of his own mind. He must fully understand the way he thinks and the way he best learns.


Carefully examining the thinking process. A teacher is expected to be able to example how he thinks and how other people think.


Practicing one's thinking ability. A teacher should and must train body and, most especially, his mind. Mens sana encorpore sano: A health mind inside a health body. He must engage himself in continuous mental activities that will develop his cognitive skills to the fullest.
